RPB Safety APF3100 Radex Replacement Filter Cartridge The RPB® Radex™ Airline Filter exceeds industry filtration standards so you can be assured that your workers won’t suffer the consequences of breathing contaminated air. These filter cartridges are made to exact standards for the highest quality of air filtration.  These filters are 6 stage filters that can absorb moisture, oils, and odours.  They cannot, however, remove Carbon Monoxide, so please use a CO monitor.  Each filter comes with a sticker so you know when it’s time to replace it!  Recommended changing intervals is 3 months or 400 used hours.

Description

This large capacity, 6-stage filter cartridge removes moisture, odour and particulates to 0.5 microns from the compressed air stream, providing clean, breathable air.

Replacement Schedule

The filter cartridge should be inspected weekly or more often depending on usage and the conditions of the air system in which the Radex® Airline Filter is installed. The filter cartridge should be replaced after a period of 3 months based on a 40 hour week and typical usage or 400 used hours.

If the Pressure gauge on the Super High Flow Regulator and the Pressure Gauge on the Manifold are reading more than 10psi apart, your cartridge is blocked and should be replaced.

The filter cartridge must be replaced immediately if the following exist:

  1. The presence of odour and or tastes in the air being supplied to the respirator.
  2. Presence of moisture at the outlet fittings.
  3. Large pressure drop of 10psi or more across the filter.
